Wedding Photography Packages


I have several different “packages” for you to choose from, with many different options that you can add as you like. Our pricing is affordable and our flexible packages are tailored to your needs. In general, pricing is based on the number of hours, which roughly correlates with how many photos can be taken and how much of the day’s activities you want photographed. What’s Included in Every Wedding Package

As part of every package, you will receive the following:

  • Your wedding will be photographed by Ed Bustya (no substitutes allowed*).
  • You will receive a DVD with the digital negatives in raw format.
  • I will upload proofs to an on-line gallery where you can order inexpensive prints. The gallery will stay online for up to three months.

The Whole Event Wedding Photography Package

Whole-Day Wedding

At an All-Day wedding, I’ll be there from before it starts to the time it ends. At your wedding I will photograph:

  • Getting ready
  • Guests arriving
  • Groom getting ready
  • Bride finishing getting ready
  • Fast bride and groom formals (before or after the ceremony)
  • The ceremony
  • Family and wedding party groups
  • Receiving line
  • Exit from the church
  • Appetizers and food
  • Lighting effects, the cake, decorations, favors
  • Toasts, the first dance(s)
  • Bouquet toss and garter toss
  • Guests at their tables
  • The party
  • And whatever else occurs (as long as it’s in good taste)

Half Day Wedding

If your plan is to have a smaller wedding, such as a morning wedding and a lunch reception, it may only require a photographer for half the day. If your wedding will be shorter, or you only want the main activities photographed, then this package might make sense for you. When we have our consultation, we’ll determine which of the activities you want photographed.

During the busy Spring and Summer wedding season, couples reserving the Whole-Day Wedding Photo package for a weekend day get the highest priority. But in some circumstances I may be available for a Half-Day Wedding. Call to check for availability.

Budget-Conscious Wedding Packages

Ceremony Only

Here’s a budget option for those wishing to minimize their wedding photography expense. This is a good package for small, short weddings or for couples who would like to have a professional photographer for the ceremony and church activities, but not the reception. I will photograph for two to three hours and take approximately 200 to 300 photos. This package is only available on days when I don’t have a larger wedding scheduled. Call for more info.

Courthouse Wedding

Some people prefer to go “simple” with their wedding and just get married by a judge or a justice of the peace at the courthouse. But it would still be nice to have some photos or an album for memories of the event and to show family and friends who couldn’t be there. I will meet you at the courthouse or church, photograph some formals, the ceremony, and you with your friends or family. If you’re going out to dinner afterward, I can follow you there and take a few pictures of the group. I will photograph for one to two hours and take approximately 100 to 200 photos. In general, I am only available to do these Monday through Thursday.

Reception Only

Are you having a simple reception or wedding celebration with a small group of friends and family? I will photograph for two to three hours and take approximately 200 to 300 photos. This package is only available on days when I don’t have a larger wedding scheduled. Call for more info.

Wedding Rehearsal Photography

The wedding rehearsal is more relaxed and informal, which makes it a great opportunity for candid photos of your friends and family. It can make for great scrapbook photos. I will photograph for one to two hours and take approximately 100 to 200 photos. I am only available to do wedding rehearsal photography Monday through Thursday. Call to check for availability. Couples who purchase an All-Day Wedding Photo package have priority.

Engagement Photos

Would you like some romantic photos of you together, in a romantic setting, before the big day or to use for your wedding invitations? The Sedona and Verde Valley area have many unique places that make interesting backgrounds for photos. There are natural settings in the red rocks with amazing views and interesting arches and rock formations for backdrops. Oak Creek has many beautiful, peaceful settings such as Red Rock Crossing. Or the architecture and gardens of some of the popular spots in Sedona like Tlaquepaque. On the other side of the valley, there’s the mining town architecture and old mining relics of Jerome. Call to discuss where your favorite spot is in the Verde Valley.

Trash the Dress

One of the newer fun trends in wedding photography is called “Trash the Dress” or “Rock the Frock” or “Fearless Bridal.” Fun examples are to photograph the bride crossing a shallow stream, dress dragging in the water. Or lying in the stream in a glamorous pose. In the Verde Valley, there are all sorts of opportunities for “trash the dress,” such as in the old mine areas of Jerome or the cactus and red rocks near sedona, as well as Oak Creek. Deposit and Payment

For budget packages under $1000, I require a 50% deposit to reserve the date, and the remainder is due 2 weeks prior to the date. For packages over $1000, I require a $500 non-refundable deposit to reserve the date and the remainder must be received 2 weeks prior. Deposits are non-refundable.

Weddings requiring overnight stays will incur additional room and travel expenses. Prices and fees are subject to change without notice, however once your deposit is accepted, your prices quoted will not change.

*Except in case of dire illness or family emergency, when I may have to provide a substitute photographer.
